Electronic consumer goods can be described as all those electronic products that are directly used by the consumers and are not used in the production of any other product. They are also known as final products and are widely used by people all over the world. The vast demand of electronic consumer goods has led to the growth of the electronic industry. Electronic industry is reckoned as one of the booming industries in the corporate sector. Various electronic goods are coming up, hair dryer being the common example. Hairdryer also known as blow-dryer are a type of electromechanical gadget that blows both hot as well as cold hair over the damp or wet hair so as to dry the hair. They work in a quite simplified manner i.e. increases the rate of evaporation of water from the hair. The other chief function of a hairdryer is to give the hair a better style and shape. It does so by controlling and increasing the creation of provisional hydrogen bonds within each strand. The powerful hydrogen bonds though are temporary but still provide a better shaping of the hair. These hydrogen bonds can disappear by simply washing the hair with water. By adding certain styling products like shampoo, gel etc. with the hairdryer, and one can improve the styling of hair to a better extent. Hairdryers came into existence in the 19th century. A hairdryer comprises of various parts like a wire that heats quickly on providing an electric current to it. They also have a fan that revolves quickly so as to force out a gush of air. The heated wire helps the fan in emitting a hot gush of air. The wire used is mostly made of nichrome as it is a poor conductor of electricity.
